Noro Neckerchief
When we spotted this gorgeous Noro yarn we were excited to see how it would knit up. Our impatience called for a quick project, and so this ball is becoming a neckerchief! Just the thing to keep the chill off (reall, where did all that sunshine go?) How fab is the striped effect?!

Progress on the Rowan Jubilee Throw
Karen is still knitting away on her Rowan Jubilee Throw - it's tough when you always have a million and one crafty projects on the go at once, but progress has been made!
She's nearly finished section 2, and the first section is complete (apart from sewing in the ends!)

Crochet Flower Purse
We can't help playing with crochet - it's such a quick and easy skill to learn, and once you know the basics, there are so many things you can make!
Our latest project is this crochet flower purse - we've started off with this gorgeous pink, but other colours will be on the way soon!

Loopy Ladies at Craft Hobby & Stitch
On Sunday, Karen picked Emily up at what she felt was a highly inappropriate time for a weekend, and we headed to the NEC for Craft Hobby & Stitch. This is one of the major trade fairs for the crafty world, full of exhibitors showing off their wares, and lots of workshops and seminars on both crafting and the craft business.
So, we arrived, loaded up on coffee and pastries (very important to make sure we were sufficiently fueled for the day) and worked our way around the massive hall full of stands.
As always it was a fab show, and we found ourselves so full of inspiration and ideas that we were very glad that the Sizzix stand were offering free sweeties to keep us going! (can you see a food-theme here? Tis always the way when we go to a show!)
It was great to see such a wide range of suppliers and companies, from all around the world, and closer to home. We ordered some gorgeous new yarn that we'll be showing off to you very soon!
